“Verde,”is the word for the color “Green,” in many different romantic languages around the world. The color itself holds the promise of growth, vitality, peace and tranquillity. The Honduran Emerald is the rarest of all hummingbird species in the world! The still life represents my art studio with tools I use to create my Illuminated works. The glass muller next to the egg helps create the egg tempera paints I use every day. Other tools  in “Verde,” are brushes, calligraphy pens, and a feathered quill. Verde symbolizes, both my studio and is the color of nature itself!
