Three Boys Save The Tiger

I read a lot of articles about my passion, helping preserve the wildlife and habitats of our planet. I get very jazzed when I see the help coming from organizations or individuals who make it their lives mission to preserve and protect those who need a louder voice. Sometimes the voice comes from a wondrous and unexpected place.

I came across an article in Catch News an online publication that was written on July 29,2016. In the article, three boys decide to help save the wild Tigers in India. They began with just an idea three years ago. Their ages at the beginning of this project were Aadarsh Kumar and Subham, both age 12. They also teamed up with Arjun age 9, who is Aadarsh’s little brother. They are all best friends.

They wanted to share the importance of saving the Tigers with all their family, friends and teachers. I could see at first that it must have seemed a bit scary to put themselves out there with such a huge idea. They had watched television programs on the Endangered Tigers and what is being done to save them. This soon became an incredible research project of looking at newspapers and whatever they could find on the internet.

The boys started small with just a blog they set up by themselves where they started collecting tiger pictures and facts. When their blog started to get a lot of likes they decided to become even more ambitious and start their own website. They didn’t have the money so they went door to door in their neighborhood and telling everyone about their project to save the Tigers. They even sweetened the pot by saying they would donate whatever money they raised on their website to helping Tigers. They raised the money.I don’t know about you but when I was twelve I got as far as a lemonade stand on the weekends.

The website is called thunder tigers.weebly.com and I got to tell you I am very impressed! They have told myths about how some Asian cultures believe the body parts of the tiger. if consumed, will offer grate magical properties, protect from the evil eye, prevent them from being cursed, and guarantee protection from humans or other wild animals.

They do have element of fun on their website like taking quizzes to see how much you have learn from their website. They plan to also focus on also talking about other animals that live in they're surrounding area and the issues they face. I cheer for your passion and I am astounded by your spirit! Keep going my fine young men!

Why do we need to Save the Tigers?

When a species becomes endangered or is near extinction it leaves a scar which effects the entire ecosystem. When the entire natural habitats of Tigers are drastically altered, even destroyed, the entire food chain will be expand to excess or have their entire food supply chains cut off with devastating results.

There are only 3,200 tigers left in the wild. There conservation status is listed as Endangered. The Bengal tiger is found primarily in India with smaller populations in Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, China and Myanmar. Bagel Tigers there are only 2,500 left in wild. Scientists predict that Tiger could be extinct in just 12 short years if countries do not protect their natural habitats where Tiger still roam free. Quick action must occur to fight against, poaching, illegal endangers wildlife open markets, According to WWF there are more tigers (between 5,000 and 7,000 tigers) living in captivity in the USA than in the wild. 3-In the USA, there are no federal laws regulating the possession of exotic animals as of May 2016.
